He's changed

Carissa says:
There's this guy that I've been really good friends with for a while and we recently started partying together, and like three weeks ago we were coming home from a party and I knew he wanted me because he had his hands all over me and I was laying on him but i didn't want to do anything because we were both pretty drunk and I didn't want it to be awkward between us. But last week Saturday we had a really intense make out session and we were completely sober and he walked me home after and it was really cute. But we went back to school on Monday and his face normally lights up when he sees me and he gives me a hug and all that but he didn't do that and he hasn't talked to me since and I don't even know what to do. I'm not sure if I like him and want a relationship but im certain I want my friend back and I don't know how to go about it. We're both 17 btw

Guys are usually not good at expressing their feelings so the initiative will have to come from you. You need the courage to ask him what's wrong and tell him you don't want to lose his friendship. Be brave and good luck.

Me and my best friend have a crush on the same guy

 Anonymous says:
This sounds ridiculous but it's the truth and it's making me rather depressed and un-happy.
Basically my best friend doesn't know that I have a [very big] crush on this guy.
I keep myself to myself really and I am very shy so I wouldn't really go up and say anything - wether it be flirtatious or just general conversation. And I never even get a chance alone with him, I am always with my friends, and he is always with his.

On the other hand, my very best friend has not personally told me that she has a crush on him - but I can just tell. She is completely different around him - we have all have 2 classes together.
She is so flirtatious around him and always stares at him. I think she thinks that I don't know but I'm not stupid, I mean, it's so obvious!

What should I do?
Thanks for your advice! x

This is a cause of many a rift in friendships - both being hot for the same target. Your problem however is not having a rival in your friend  - the problem is your own shyness! Here's the thing - Sir Galahad aint gonna come up on a white charger, instantly recognize you good qualities and sweep you up in his arms. You'll be waiting forever!

Am I shy?

Christie says:
I'm loud around people i feel comfortable around but im also loud around people who im not friends with. There are some people that im not loud around and that's because i don't feel comfortable around them. I'm not shy to answer questions in class its just that im normally day dreaming or i don't find the topic interesting or i might not be bothered to answer a question i can be really confident in certain situations when im good at something or i know my answer is right or I've practiced but when any of those things are the opposite im shy does this make a shy person?

It doesn't sound to me like you're a shy person at all! If anything, you just know yourself very well. Like most people, how confident you are depends on how comfortable you are with the situation. There is nothing wrong with you!
